Lvov, Ukraine - Part 3Lvov is located in the western, Ukrainian speaking part of Ukraine. Lvov is a much smaller city than Kiev, and has much of an old-city look to it. The streets surrounding the main squares are cobblestone. (You can even hire a horse-pulled cab to clop along them in.) The downtown streets are narrow and winding. There are many interesting and historical sights to see in Lvov.Where to Eat in Lvov UkraineAn economical choice for lunch and dinner in Lvov is the chain called Puzata Khata ("Chubby Cottage"). Not only is it inexpensive (a nice meal will cost only $4-$6). Since it is cafeteria-style, you can see all of the dishes before you choose. They offer numerous delicious soups -- the traditional started for any Ukrainian meal. Also a number of interesting salads. They have a wide variety of main courses, from sausages (Kielbasas) to stuffed chicken legs, breaded meat patties of chicken or pork, ribs, pelmeni, blinis (crepes stuffed with apples or cream cheese, and topped with your choice of cream or honey).article continues below
